The amount varies depending on the volume and length of your hair, but avoid applying it directly to the roots. Take 2 to 3 teaspoons and apply to your hands. Emulsify to spread and apply from the mid-lengths to the ends. Leave it on for 3 to 5 minutes. Rinse off all excess. It is not necessary to follow with conditioner.
